Position Title: Intermediate Web Developer

From collaborating with designers to translate their concepts into web pages/flash banners, to participating in the development of marketing campaigns, to maintaining our corporate websites, you will need creativity and dedication to excellence in all areas of your job. Job Responsibilities:
· Develop original and creative Flash animations and banner ads
· Contribute to team brainstorming sessions to explore technical and creative approaches to meeting project requirements
· Develop standards-compliant webpages using: HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and jQuery
· Develop HTML emails with an emphasis on email client compatibility
· Slice and optimize graphics for use in webpages, Flash elements and HTML emails
· Maintain several corporate websites
· Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of code standards
Qualifications:
· Can demonstrate - through web portfolio and coding examples - standards-compliant HTML, CSS and JavaScript
· Can demonstrate - through web portfolio - Flash development experience
· Able to develop web interfaces and front-end functionality based on PSDs, storyboards and/or documentation
· Knowledge of key applications: Adobe CS4 product suite, Adobe After Effects, Quark Xpress 8, MS Visual Studio 2005/2008
· Experience with version control (e.g. Subversion) and issue tracking (e.g. JIRA) is an asset
· Undergraduate Degree, Community College Diploma or Post-Graduate diploma with related areas of study
· Minimum two years experience
